K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN surprised their fans with the announcement of a brand new album to be released in the latter part of this month.
SEVENTEEN is set to drop a best-of album titled 17 Is Right Here on Monday, April 29, at 6 p.m. KST (5 p.m. in Manila).
An animated concept teaser for the album has also been released on HYBE Labels's YouTube channel.
An article by Soompi said the teaser video “takes fans on a fun animated journey through SEVENTEEN's past releases.”
SEVENTEEN had two shows in Incheon over the weekend as part of their encore tour, Follow Again.
The group then dropped a short teaser of the upcoming album at the end of the concert last Sunday, which was later on uploaded on HYBE Labels's YouTube channel.
The video showed SEVENTEEN's three units--hiphop, performance, and vocal--dressed in different black ensembles.
Last January, SEVENTEEN held a two-day show at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan, as part of their “Follow” To Asia Tour.
In October 2023, SEVENTEEN released their album, Seventeenth Heaven, which featured the upbeat title track, “God of Music.”
